2015 Sponsorship Drive

Posted by Myles Cullen on

Those who follow our social media on Facebook or Instagram know that we are producing more video content than ever before. From scooter checks to Team Tour videos, our content is plentiful, dynamic, and diverse - just like our riders. Team SC hosts some of the best riders in the country and - most importantly - they are all first class characters.

They are aided in their pursuits by quality hardware from every top tier brand that Scooters Canada carries.

In parallel to the evolution of the riding, the equipment has progressed tremendously through 2014. Gone are the days of constantly dehubbing wheels and decks that crack in two months of riding. Todays hardware is more robust, more reliable, and lighter weight than it has ever been before - across all brands and models.

This improved hardware and the push of freestyle scootering into the mainstream action sports culture has pushed the sport forward in a remarkable way. Nowhere is this more evident than in our scooter competitions. The Amateur ranks are bursting at the seams and the skills at this level are simply astounding. There's no question that tomorrows superstars are out there just waiting to be discovered.

That's where our Sponsorship Drive comes in.

Scooters Canada (and our parent company, Spoke O'Motion) are wholly committed to the grassroots development of sports. And we don't just talk about helping our sports grow - we are out there making it happen. From hosting Canada's most highly attended events to supporting developing athletes with top quality hardware, Scooters Canada is committed to building tomorrow's superstars.

Just take a look at our Team: A diverse collection of people with different styles and different skills but every one of them demonstrating extraordinary athleticism and passionate about becoming the best riders they can be.

If this sounds like you, then you need to submit a video!

The time has come to open up the floodgates and encourage the next generation of talent to submit their videos for our sponsorship drive that runs until March 1st, 2015.

There is no specific trick you need to perform, no checklist to follow. The only requirements are that your video be 2-3 minutes in length and include an interview that introduces everyone to who you are. New for 2015, these interviews can be separate video uploads but they must both be linked in the same post. Submissions without an interview will not be considered.

Sponsorships are about more than riding talent. We need the right people to represent Scooters Canada. Skills matters, but personality and the ability to produce content regularly are equally vital.

Now get posting to our Facebook page. If you have any questions, please post them to our Facebook page. Comments to this blog posted CANNOT receive a response.
