Warranties
Our primary goal is your total satisfaction with every purchase you make from Scooters Canada.
While we focus and brands and products built to withstand the rigours of prolonged and rigorous use, it is inevitable there there will be product failures. Failures are not necessarily indicative of a product defect. Every manufactured good has limits in strength and durability and scooter riders are known to test these limits to the extreme.
Product failures that occur due to extensive use, severe impacts, wear and tear, improper installation, or lack of proper maintenance are not eligible for warranty. As always, we aim for fair and equitable solutions for our customers issues. Please understand that Scooters Canada does not decide the outcome of a warranty claim. This process is defined by the vendor/manufacturer of the specific item in question. The manufacturer/distributor is the ultimate arbiter of warranty claims - we are the facilitators that help ease the process.
There is no warranty on used merchandise. Warranties are only applicable to the original purchaser and a proof of purchase is required to initiate any claim.
Specific warranties vary based upon the manufacturer/vendor as described below:

Headsets - 90 days
Eagle & District
All Eagle and District products are warrantied for 30 days from proof of purchase.Warranty is for factory defects only and does not include flat spots on wheels, chips, chunks, scratches or deck breakage due to normal use.
Envy
Envy Metal core wheels - 30 days
This will cover:
- De-hubbing of the PU tyre from the wheel core
- Ovalising the hub bearing housing
It does not cover:
- Chunking of the wheel: Chunking is when the wheel PU breaks off in “gouges” caused by riding on rough surfaces.
Envy Forks - 90 days
This will cover:
- Breaking or bending (except the axle)
This will not cover:
- Breaking or bending of the axle
- Damaging the thread
- Misuse or poor set up
- Any modifications to the fork
Envy Handlebars - 30 days
This will cover:
- Bending or breaking of the bars
This will not cover:
- If bars have less then 40mm of fork tube inside the bars
- If you modify or cut your bars
- Scratching or chipping of paint
- Misuse of your bars
AOS V1 Decks - 30 days
Envy Decks - 90 days
AOS V2 Decks - 6 month on head tube
This will cover:
- Snapping or visible cracking of the deck
- Function of the deck
This will not cover:
- Any damage caused by misuse or abuse to the deck
- Scratching or fading of paint or anodizing
- Damage to the headset cups due to bad set up or lack of maintenance
- Denting of the deck down tube
- Modifications to any part of the deck, including drill holes
- Please note: Scooter decks are subject to extreme pressures and stress. To increase the life expectancy of your deck, avoid constant fly-outs (jumping to flat) and make all attempts to land smoothly, minimising the shock to the deck. All Scooter decks are prone to failure – it’s a fact, as they are constantly ground and put under extreme pressures.
- Always land with your knees bent to absorb the shock
- Keep everything tight including your axles and headset
- Avoid grinding on rough concrete
- Limit the amount of fly outs you do
- Never throw your scooter
Envy Clamps - 90 days
This will cover:
- Breaking of bolts and clamp body
This will not cover:
- Cross threading the bolts
- Stripping of the bolt heads by using rounded-off Allen keys
- Scratching of paint or anodizing
The Envy Complete: 12 month manufacturer’s warranty on hardware failure excluding wear and tear.
All warranties will be void if this product is modified in any way. This includes: Using after-market products, poor maintenance, abuse or misuse.
This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, wheels, hand grips nor any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or use of the product. This warranty is void if the product is altered or modified in any way.
Madd Gear is not liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage due directly or indirectly to the use of this product.

Standard decks carry a 3 Month Warranty.
Integrated decks carry a 3 Month Warranty.
Reventon decks carry a 6 Month Warranty.
What’s covered:
- Breaking, or Bending

What’s NOT covered:
- Damage caused by improper use and/or abuse
- Altering the structure (i.e. drilling holes)
- Scratches or grinding to the anodizing
- Any modification
- Damage, cracking, bending, or thinning of the the deck caused my excessive grinding
Standard & Integrated decks also carry a 6 month warranty. If your deck is greater than 90 days old, but is still within 6 months, the deck qualifies for a warranty replacement at a discount from retail price. Reventon decks also carry a 1 year warranty. If your deck is older than 6 months, but still within the first year, the deck qualifies for a warranty replacement at a discount from retail price. You may purchase a new deck for a warranty price that is discounted from retail.
Phorx - 6 months
What’s covered:
- Snapping, Bending, and Cracking
- Manufacturing defects
Handle Bars - 12 months
What’s covered:
- Breaking, Visible Cracking, and Bending
- Manufacturing defect
Wheels - 6 months
What’s Covered:
- Dehubbing (PU coming detached from the core)
- Chunking (occurs when a chunk of the PU becomes detached from the core)
- Manufacturing defect
Clamps - 6 months
What’s covered:
- Breaking, Visible Cracking, and Bending
- Manufacturing defect
Brakes - 6 months
What’s covered:
- Breaking, Visible Cracking
- Manufacturing defect
What’s NOT covered (applies to everything above):
- Damage caused by improper use and/or abuse
- Altering the structure (i.e. drilling holes)
- Scratches or grinding to the anodizing
- Any modification
- Stripping and cross threading the threads
- Stripping or cross threading of the internal starnut
- Scratches or grinding to the powder coating
- Stripping or cross threading of the integrated clamps (HIC versions)
- Damage, cracking, bending, or thinning of the the deck caused my excessive grinding
If your product qualifies for warranty, please email warranty@phoenixproscooters.com with images of the product & a proof of purchase/receipt. Please be prepared to mail in the warranty product.
Proto
Handlebars - lifetime warranty on welds
Forks - lifetime warranty on welds
Clamps - lifetime warranty on cracking
Stripping of the threads on the clamp is not covered under warranty. It is considered user error and will not be replaced.
Wheels
All Wheels carry a lifetime warranty on "delaminating" (where the urethane cleanly separates from the core leaving no trace of adhesion) and a 90 day warranty on all chunking (where a piece of urethane tears from the core).
NOTE: "Flat-Spots" are not covered by our warranty and are considered user-error. Wheels are warranted by the wheel NOT by the pair even if purchased as so.
